Microbrand LIV set the bar for Swiss watches on Kickstarter when it raised 1.1 million dollars for its GX1-A and then raised even more with the highest crowdfunded Swiss watch, The Rebel, which received 1.7 million dollars in funding—3.2 million dollars from 5,809 backers in a considerably short period of time. Now LIV is unveiling its fourth Kickstarter campaign, The Breakthrough, bringing four new watches to its lineup of rugged but stunning watches.

Its first watch is the GX P51 Swiss Auto Chronograph (limited to 500 pieces) is a pilot’s watch dedicated to World War II’s P51 Mustang, featuring a titanium case, ceramic bezel, 100-meter water resistance, and sapphire crystal for the front and back of the watch. The movement used in this watch is a 25-jewel Sellita SW 500 Swiss automatic chronograph. The watch is US$1,170 (Super Early Bird) and US$1,190. A non-titanium version of this pilot’s watch will also be available with 1,000 pieces at US$970 (Super Early Bird) and US$990. This watch definitely speaks back to the P51 Mustang, including a small emblem with a silhouette of this iconic plane.
